We will be upgrading our core network switch to 25Gb adaptors starting at 10:00 am on the morning of Sunday Aug 23rd. Primary servers at our WM2 location will be taken offline and new network cards installed, then the network gear will be upgraded. We expect that the affected services will be offline for at least a couple of hours while we perform the upgrades and application of the new network firewall rules required to assist the new infrastructure. The primary client websites will remain unaffected throughout as those are hosted at WM4-TX-US and the changes are only happening at WM2. Services affected will include the WritheM Project server including the ownCloud server, media services, and Intellimerge for Spotify. We will post updates here as progress is made that morning.
